Professor Sean Mueller is a renowned expert in the fields of federalism and direct democracy. He obtained his master's degree in 2006 from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and received a PhD in political science from the University of Kent in England in 2013. Currently, he is a political science professor at the University of Bern and the University of Lausanne. Furthermore, Professor Mueller leads the "Eccellenza" project at the University of Lausanne and is also the head of the "Federal Political Culture" project in Switzerland.
